About me

I’m an experienced graphic designer known for creating digital and print assets that help businesses achieve their goals.

Through my work, I try to solve complex design problems with simplicity.

Equally comfortable online and in print, I produce on-brand materials ranging from ads, social media visuals, and eBooks to brochures, posters, and annual reports. I design wireframes for landing pages (along with icons and illustrations) and create storyboards for digital animation. When clients are looking to evolve, I work with them to create new logos and branding guidelines.

Over the years, I’ve held two long-term, in-house positions. I’ve also had the privilege of working with clients such as AutoFi, the FOR-SITE Foundation, and Haines Gallery via my studio, Jeff Li Design.

Until recently, I was a graphic designer at TechSoup, a San Francisco nonprofit that brings technology to organizations working for a more equitable planet. At TechSoup, I worked collaboratively with stakeholders while juggling multiple projects and deadlines. I was stimulated by the diversity of my workload and by TechSoup’s mission, which furthers the efforts of thousands of nonprofits around the world.

Prior to moving to the US, I was in-house designer for Galerie Urs Meile, a Swiss art gallery with branches in Lucerne and Beijing (my hometown). Meile’s robust publishing program, combined with all the needs of an international art gallery, kept me busy and engaged.

When I’m not at my computer, I’m hiking through the Marin redwoods, and listening to vinyl.
